Parents Council

Our Carolina Family benefits from the energy and commitment of the dedicated parents who form the Carolina Parents Council.

The Council advises the Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs on student needs and issues. In turn, the Vice Chancellor relies on the Council to incorporate parents’ perspective on campus and student life issues.

Representatives from each of the four undergraduate classes form the Parents Council. The Council specifically focuses on parent/student issues in order to enhance the undergraduate experience.

Current priorities include:

  • Advocacy
  • Family Weekend
  • Fraternity & Sorority Life
  • Parents Clubs
  • Parents Communication & Orientation
  • Student Programs
  • Undergraduate Academics
