At Carolina, you can live and study on one of the most beautiful campuses in the country, where exciting events and incredible opportunities are always just a short walk away.
If you have earned less than thirty hours of college credit and are enrolled in twelve or more hours , you are required to apply for on-campus housing, either through the UNC Department of Housing and Residential Education or Granville Towers.
By living on campus, you’ll stay in touch with the heartbeat of Carolina. You’ll be centrally located near classes, libraries, dining halls, campus events, happenings in the Pit, the bustle of Franklin Street, and other “can’t miss” cornerstones of the Carolina experience. You’ll create strong, enduring bonds with people you might not have otherwise met.
