To make sure you get off to a successful start we’ve pulled together information about all the many programs, services and academic resources on campus to help make the transition to college easier. We call it Tar Heel Beginnings and it will be an essential navigational tool for your journey. The first week of Tar Heel Beginnings is called Week of Welcome (WOW) and is packed with programs, events and services.
New students will receive a copy of the Tar Heel Beginnings Guide upon moving into their fall residence hall or Granville Towers. New transfer students living off-campus, will receive their Guide at Week of Welcome events or may contact newstudents@unc.edu for a copy.
