All incoming students at Carolina take part in the Carolina Summer Reading Program. Over the summer months prior to your arrival at Chapel Hill, you’ll be expected to complete the reading—the same book for all incoming students—which will then be discussed in small group sessions before classes begin.
A selection committee comprised of faculty, staff, and students is pleased to announce the 2013 selection of Home, by Toni Morrison. This year's discussions will take place on Monday, August 19, 2013 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
