During June and July Orientation Sessions, on-campus housing accommodations can by requested if you need to arrive one day prior to New Student Orientation or depart one day after the program. Please be aware there is an additional fee to arrive early or depart late. All requests should be made when you make your online Orientation Reservation. For early arrival check-in, report directly to Cob Community between 2:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. The next morning, you will proceed to New Student Orientation check-in (7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.) located in the F.P.G Student Union. Late Check-Out time is noon the day after your Orientation program.
Early Arrival Parking is available in the Cobb Parking Deck, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., and on Saturday and Sunday; parking in Cobb Deck outside of those hours may result in a parking ticket or towing violation. On the morning of your Orientation program, please be sure to move your car to the Orientation Parking area located at Granville Towers; staff will greet you in the parking lot and provide you with an Orientation parking permit (valid from 7:00 a.m. on Day One of Orientation through 6:00 p.m. on Day 2 of the Orientation). Please review visitor and disability parking maps for parking needs beyond the Orientation Parking hours.
Please note that first-year students participating in the August 16-17 Orientation session will move directly into their on-campus and/or Granville Towers housing assignment; no Orientation housing accommodations are provided during the August session.
